Thong Dee – The Town Bistro

Thong Dee – The Town Bistro is the second venture from Patrik Lundgren and Executive Chef Phonchan Chiarram, after the highly successful Thong Dee – The Kathu Brasserie, in Kathu. This traditional bistro restaurant is located on Ratsada Road, in the heart of Phuket Town, and can seat approx. 30 people comfortably, every Tuesday to Saturday.

The food at Thong Dee Bistro is similar to their first restaurant, though they simplified the menu to cater to people looking for the true bistro experience. The selection of ingredients comes from the heart, and so does the cooking of each protein to perfection.

You will enjoy the perfectly cooked meat, such as chicken, duck, pork, and the wonderful 120-day aged beef rib eye, all served with your choice of sauces and side dishes, such as mashed potatoes, hand cut fries and vegetables. The starters are light and do a great job at preparing your stomach for the pièce de résistance. The various bruschettas, crostinis and the delicious gambas “pil-pil” are on point and will bring a bite of freshness to your selection.

Thong Dee Bistro is also a fantastic venue to grab a glass of wine or a refreshing beer before hitting town later on, as the venue is located next to some of the big entertainment names in Phuket Town. Overall, this bistro offers great value for money, and will delight the fans of the original Thong Dee with a new presence in the heart of the old town.
