On July 14, 2019, Phuketify had the pleasure to celebrate French National Day at the Royal Phawadee Village, in the center of Patong. The celebration started at 6:30pm, with a refreshing Pina Colada cocktail served in a bamboo cup and with a bamboo straw, showcasing the sustainability efforts of the venue towards environment. After a speech from Mr. Claude de Crissey, French Honorary Consul in Phuket, Phuket Vice Governor and other Phuket officials, the crowd listened to both the royal Thai anthem and the French anthem. This three-day event welcomes industry professionals and interested parties to discover the latest trends in hospitality. A number of suppliers in food & beverage, HVAC and IT showcased their products on the main floor of the event. On June 29, 2019, Phuket celebrated the grand opening of the Twinpalms Residences MontAzure, in Kamala, right next to world-famous beach clubs, such as HQ and Café Del Mar. This new property development comprises 75 units, including 56 one-bedroom and 19 two-bedroom. A mixed crowd of Phuket media, VIP and friends of the Twinpalms Management gathered for an evening of delightful shows, sumptuous food and, of course, gorgeous bubbles to accompany the night away. The band recreated pieces of modern music with instruments such as cello and saxophones, while the celebrity singer of the night offered guests traditional opera from the second floor of one building. Phuket's very own "Miss Mom 2019" competition crowned K. Sangjan Modnok, Owner of Royal Thai Villas, on June 15, 2019, during the awards ceremony at the Ramada Plaza Chao Fah hotel, in Phuket Town. Thanyawat Chanpinit, chaired a press conference of the Andaman Hotelier Tourism Fair 2019 at Central Festival Phuket, alongside several Phuket local authorities and Phuket hotel, hospitality and tourism associations.
