On July 17, 2020, the team of Phuketify and The Guide Phuket were invited to the grand opening of Samran Restaurant, on Soi Takuapa, in Phuket Town. Most of you should be familiar where the old Suay restaurant used to be; it has now been rebranded as Samran, and focuses on casual Isaan food served with ice cold beers (or your favorite cocktail). The selection of food was fantastic and the prices are of good value, especially considering the atmosphere of the main dining room and the lovely garden upfront. On July 11, 2020, Utopia Corporation gathered media and real estate partners at the Utopia Nai Harn Hotel to reveal the upcoming project: Utopia Yamu, a Moroccan-inspired development located within the heart of Cape Yamu. On June 20, 2020, the restaurant Dock A Café, located in Boat Lagoon, hosted an event titled "Phuket Relaunch", to celebrate the return of some sort of normalcy. From 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the guests enjoyed a large selection of beverage, including Nitro Cold Brew by coffeeworks, and fantastic wines from OVS. In addition to the refreshments, the team of Naughty Nuri's Phuket answered present to serve probably the best ribs in the world. On November 16, 2019, Phuketify and The Guide Phuket were invited to the Grand Opening of Diamond Resort, a brand new hotel located in Cherng Talay. On July 14, 2019, Phuketify had the pleasure to celebrate French National Day at the Royal Phawadee Village, in the center of Patong. The celebration started at 6:30pm, with a refreshing Pina Colada cocktail served in a bamboo cup and with a bamboo straw, showcasing the sustainability efforts of the venue towards environment. After a speech from Mr. Claude de Crissey, French Honorary Consul in Phuket, Phuket Vice Governor and other Phuket officials, the crowd listened to both the royal Thai anthem and the French anthem. The buffet was composed of French classics and Thai traditional dishes, including a large selection of seafood, cold cuts and delicious cheese; nothing short of what is expected from French National Day celebrations.
