Pakpon Relax is a quiet little spa located on Soi Houypru, in Rawai. The venue can be divided into two parts: the first building, which they use for massages, and the main building, with Thai architecture and design, which houses the main bar and some tables and chairs for people to relax in-between two visits in the steam room.
The price of the venue is really affordable, with the entry fee priced at THB 120.- per person. An extra THB 30.- will grant you a towel and a sarong, a traditional piece of clothing which can be used to access the sauna if you didn’t think of bringing your bathing suit. While the main attraction is the steam room, which averages 45 to 50 degrees Celsius, Pakpon Relax also offers a jacuzzi, big enough for 8 to 10 people, and an iced bath, which is perfect to tighten the pores after some minutes spent in the steam.
Why not treat yourself to a relaxed massage during the day? Then you’ve come to the right place! All the masseuses are certified from the renowned Wat Pho Massages School and can provide Thai massage, oil massage, foot massage and many more. They also do scrubs upon request as well as manicure and pedicure. The price for a one-hour Thai massage is THB 300.- and THB 350.- for the oil version (you can bring your own oil if you have a favorite brand in mind).
They serve beverage if you feel thirsty, such as soft drinks and a delicious green tea with ginger and lemon. A few snacks are available as well, and you can order food from the nearby restaurant, which will deliver to the spa without any issue.
The English level is decent, and the manager is always around to ensure the guests have a wonderful time. You will find some parking space right in front of the spa, which can fit 4-5 cars. Motorbikes can park at the entrance. We advise you to get there early if you would like to grab a table, as people tend to arrive around 3-4pm.
