The Mojito Bar is a relatively new addition to the nightlife scene in Phuket Town, having opened its door in 2017. The concept is as clear as the name suggests: they specialize in carefully crafted and delicious Mojitos! Located on the terrace of the Sino House Hotel, the bar is a few blocks away from the old town, and can be accessed using a staircase from the downstairs restaurant.

White rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint, it’s all there is to love. While the original Mojito recipe is quite simple in its form and execution, Mojito Bar goes a step beyond by pairing their drinks with subtle, and sometimes highly creative, flavors. Want to experience local flavors? Then you should try their Ginger, Passion Fruit, Lemongrass or Dragon Fruit cocktails. Prefer to try something more creative? The Watermelon or the White Chocolate Mojito should tickle your senses.

The venue also offers mixologist-grade Martinis, Caipirinha and a selection of classic cocktails. If you feel like sharing, all their cocktails can be ordered in a giant sharing-sized glass, perfect for a couple or a group of friends.

Mojito Bar is run by Chris, a gentleman who is also behind one of South-East Asia premier’s bartender school, providing local and international hotel chains and restaurants with his unique knowledge and passion. No wonder why the cocktails taste as good as they look!

They also organize several events during the year, ranging from saxophone nights to salsa and latino parties, so it is good to check on their Facebook page from time to time to get in the know of the upcoming happenings.

Parking may be an issue, as you will have to find a space on the sometimes busy Montree Road, so it is advised to reach the place before 8:00 pm to get a spot not too far from the venue.
