On July 17, 2020, the team of Phuketify and The Guide Phuket were invited to the grand opening of Samran Restaurant, on Soi Takuapa, in Phuket Town. Most of you should be familiar where the old Suay restaurant used to be; it has now been rebranded as Samran, and focuses on casual Isaan food served with ice cold beers (or your favorite cocktail).
The selection of food was fantastic and the prices are of good value, especially considering the atmosphere of the main dining room and the lovely garden upfront. A typical dish will cost you anything from THB 90 onward, depending on your taste.
While finding a parking space may be difficult, as it is with most restaurants and bars in Phuket Town, your efforts will be well compensated, as you and your friends will spend a delightful evening sharing great, tasty food and the sound of laughter.
