Ramada Plaza ChaoFah is launching its weekly “High Tea @ChaoFah” this coming Mother’s Day on August 12, 2019!
Celebrate Mother’s Day in Peranakan style with a very special promotion during the month of August: bring your very loved one and only pay for yourself. Treat your mom on her special day to a chic and special tea event in their courtyard. High Tea @ Chaofah means specially selected teas, delightful cream sandwiches, home-made warm scones with all the trimmings and some truly Peranakan specialties prepared by Chef Best and his team.
All of these will be enjoyed in Ramada Plaza ChaoFah’s tranquil Baba courtyard, with only the sound of Guzheng, a traditional Chinese string instrument, to wrap you in a truly special yet cultural experience. Peranakan is an ethnic group descending from Chinese settlers from the southern provinces, who came to the Malay archipelago, including British Malaya and Dutch East Indies, and southern Thailand, primarily in Phuket.
The event is priced at THB 490 per person, including free flow tea of your choice, or THB 690 including a glass of Prosecco.
Mother’s Day will be the first event hosted by the hotel, and the High Tea @ Chaofah will be served every weekend from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm afterwards. Advance booking is recommended as seating is limited. Parking spaces are available in front of the hotel and available for customers.
