On Friday, February 7, join us for the ultimate wine tasting with Gerhard Kracher, Der Feinschmecker Winemaker of the Year 2017, International Wine Challenge Sweet Winemaker of the Year 2009, and son of the late sweet wine legend Alois Kracher.
Kracher’s sweet wines are among the finest in the world, rivaling the finest Sauternes by Chateau Yquem, and Tokajis from Hungary. Gerhard will be presenting the sweet and dry wines from his family winery located in Neusiedlersee, Burgenland as well as unique Grüner Veltliners that he makes with his good friend Aldo Sohm, the Best Sommelier in the World 2008 and Best Sommelier in Austria 2002-2006.
From 3:00pm to 5:00pm, taste over ten wines from Kracher Weinlaubenhof and Sohm & Kracher in an intimate wine tasting guided by the maker himself.
From 5:00pm to 6:30pm, taste over ten wines from Kracher plus over ten wines from a Fin’s boutique portfolio and discover organic, bio-dynamic, and natural wines with Benjawan Wisootsat from Fabulous is Needed – Fin Wine.
