A unique experience away from the traditional tourist attractions of Phuket, Chalong Bay offers its guests a whole bevy of activities to enjoy. From cocktail workshops and competitions to distillery visits, private parties, weekly Latin Fire Thursdays and more, this beautifully hidden gem is so much more than meets the eye.

Spend an afternoon in the rustic garden as you sample and create some of Chalong Bay’s most popular cocktails at their cocktail workshop and using their very own internationally acclaimed rum, distilled and bottled on site.

Guests also have the opportunity to participate in distillery tours where they’ll learn how Chalong Bay sustainably produces their award-winning natural rum from Thai sugarcane and observe the French copper still and on-site bottling plant.

For those with a little competitive streak in them, the cocktail competition is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon with friends. Split up into teams to create a cocktail of your own imagination, as a discerning jury comprised of Chalong Bay mixologists and selected guests judge the taste, name, presentation and originality of each team’s cocktail – the top teams will be rewarded for their ingenuity!

Once the workshop, competition or tour are complete, guests have the option of enjoying a meal in the open-air, thatched roof restaurant and bar with a carefully crafted menu consisting of a variation between Mediterranean and Asian starters, salads and mains, while each barring their own pairing menu, carefully designed by Chalong Bay’s Chef Oil, a Le Cordon Bleu alumni.

Her rustic cuisine uses fresh, quality ingredients that serve to bring people together with distinctive comfort food that is made to be shared and is perfect for private dinners, celebrations or events.

The distillery is open for visits from 2:00pm to 6:00pm every day with a price of THB 450 net per person. Cocktail workshops are also available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 4:00pm. Price is THB 1,700 net per person.

The restaurant and bar is open daily from 11:00am to 11:00pm.
